Nally & Millie

We here at The Fashionable Housewife love to discover new brands and designers… well, because in discovering new, even to us, clothing is like opening a new door to fashion awareness. Nally & Millie has just showed up on my fashion radar and I am pretty stoked that it has.

I had the opportunity to try the Nally & Millie Slouch and corresponding sheer tank just recently (seen below). At first, I was pretty unsure of how this was going to look on my curvy figure. I am usually good to go with  more fitted tops that accentuate my positives and hide my negatives.  I wasn’t quite sure what the slouch top was going to do for me but hey, I had to give my fashion horizons the chance to expand!

Upon putting the top on, I was pleased with how lightweight the fabric was. Being that it is still Summer and often pretty darn hot here in the Northeast, I was still able to wear this to work and be cool enough outside but warm enough inside. In that regard, this bad boy totally worked out.

As for as how I looked in the Nally & Millie slouch? Not too shabby, my friends. For someone busty, I expected this to hang all wrong. But surprisingly, the fitted sleeves create the right amount of cling to let the rest of the shirt look effortless and svelte.  I wore the set with a pencil skirt to work and then changed into skinny jeans after work, both looks working equally well. I am overall really pleased with the quality, Made in the USA apparel from Nally & Millie and cannot wait to find more fun frocks for my every growing wardrobe. Survey says? Yes, to Nally & Millie.

You can pick  Nally & Millie up online or in specialty boutiques across the US and Canada.
